La Loungerie is an international project of Patrick Kosmos, who has been delving into his own version of lounge music. Famous musicians like the Belgian harmonica/guitar/whistling virtuoso Toots Thielemans, Italy's Rocco Granata, Waveworld and Karunesh participated and the result is a highly varying album with world rhythms, provocative compositions, up-beat and pensive moments sprinkled around. This music spans the globe, with a chill out flavour that is jazz tinged.
