His sensitive and fluid piano and synthesizers are at the centre of each of the ten selections, with a lush, emotional sound that incorporates secular music, world music and choral textures. Ethnic percussion fills out the bottom, lending a contemporary sound to the Latin texts, some originally written by Hildegard von Bingen and translated into English by Claudio Blanc.
