Volgens de Maya’s was 21 december 2012 de eerste dag van de 14e baktun, het begin van een nieuwe cyclus dat gevierd wordt met feestelijke rituelen. Eve Awakening kijkt voorbij de zonnewende van 2012 en richt zich op een nieuwe cyclus. Het bevat zang en muziek beïnvloed door Midden-Amerika, het indianenvolk de Hopi en de vierwindstreken. Een rustgevend album met inspirerende composities van artiesten als Karunesh, Brainscapes, Joshua Samson en Yarnstone.
