Karunesh creeerde Sky’s Beyond na zes maanden van meditatie. Het resultaat is een prachtige cd met serene, mystieke composities die je niet meer loslaten. Speciale gasten die voor dit album hun medewerking verleenden zijn onder andere Prem Joshua, Sangit Om en Kamal maar het is Karunesh die zijn stempel drukt op de muziek. With a mystical and expansive quality, these haunting melodies of wondrous beauty open the heart and lift the spirits towards the worlds beyond this world we occupy. Plaintive electric guitar fills the opening track, and the evocative titles, such as Moon in the Water, Into the Light, and New Morning are representative of the music within. Other artists like Prem Joshua, Sangit Om, Kamal and others lend their support, but it is Karunesh who is responsible for the vast majority of the music as well as composing, arranging and production. The tracks are of longer duration on this CD, allowing for deeper development and textures to emerge. This is one of Karunesh’s most popular recordings, and also dates back nearly a decade, although it was unavailable for many years.
